Notes:
*
The 2002 Excelsior was from Jan's cellar. The quality varied widely
in tha same vintage, and he literally tried bottles in parking lots before
buying a couple cases of the good batch. He gave it a 16 on a 20 point scale,
very good for the price.
**The Goats do Roam in Villages was prominently displayed
at a liquor store as having a Spectator rating of 90 points, but we doubt they
tasted the same wine we did. The
wine was not faulted, just lacking in flavor and finish.
