2005 - The Wine Wise Guys Do the Italian Job!
Italian Sangiovese-based Wines
These results are from the Wine Wise Guys "Italian Job," which took place in August 2005 with six Wine Wise Guys participating (Jan, Elmeda, Paul, Carolyn, Tom, Laura). Each of the four entries was placed in a brown paper bag. The foil with identifying information was removed and the top of the bag was taped shut. The bottles were then assigned numbers. The Wine Wise Guys tasted each wine and recorded their findings on their score sheet. The name and price of the wine was revealed only after the tasting was complete and the score sheets tallied.The top two picks of each person were collected and used for the rankings.
