Wine without the Attitude!

Six of the Wine Wise Guys (Laura, Tom, Paul, Carolyn, Jan, Elmeda) gathered for an informal wine tasting on a rainy summer evening. Our "find" of the evening was Dry Creek Vineyard's 2001 Heritage Clone Zinfandel. The nose was rich and earthy. and the taste spicy and full of berry flavors — a real delight! The vote was unanimous — we recommend it to any who are looking for a full-bodied wine that can hold its own with whatever you choose to serve with it, from cheeses to pasta dishes to filet mignon.
